Yes it has been a very long time since I updated our online diary...what its nearly been a whole year, and alot has happened!
My relationship with Kerry has finished more though both our faults and it was some thing that had already shown signs of ending during the late part of 2007.
Here we are one whole year later and things are changing,
Just before the girls birthday 2008 Nicky (their mum) wrote a letter asking to see the children. and i didnt reply, as far as i was concerned nothing had changed and she'd still not proven to any of us that she could be trusted to be more consistant with the girls and be a good roll model for them.
She had also still not taken the step of seeing a court order for contact.
So she started to get something done by going to a solicitor.
I recieved a letter from them and wrote a reply (see link to document) *
To which they wrote asking if i would go to mediation to disscuss this with her, I went to the first meeting and told the aliason what had happend and that we felt she had damaged the children and their relationships with her and it would take court action before i would allow them to go though that again.
so they got them selves together and made an application to go to court. we recieved it and we went to CAFCASS appointment to state our needs for the children and what out comes we would be prepared for...
the court date came in December 2008 and Nicky and I sat across from eachother in a large room (not really any thing like a court) and heard what the Judge had to say, as soon as the Judge got to grips with what had happened and was corrected on some missunderstandings in our case he ordered that the case be postponed until April for reports to be carried out on all of us and that the CAFCASS team would be undertaking supervised visits with Nicky and the children together though they believed Bradley should see her away from the girls as he has serious issues which he wants to air with his mum...
Its February now and still CAFCASS have not contacted us in relation to this case,
its still early they have another two months to assess our need for supervised visits.
